Financial Setup

Financial set up screen is to configure formula for the chart of accounts whose nature is selected as Formula in the COA screen, based on this formula, value is displayed in the user panel for the respective chart of account in financial analysis screen.

View

After selecting Financial Setup from the Financial Engine module, User lands on a screen where the user should choose an operational business segment.

After selecting business segment, User will be shown the main screen where the following fields with data will be visible and click on save at each line items.

• Nature of COA (choose any one and save)
  • Input able
  • Formula
  • Heading
  • Disabled
• Account Name
• Applicable Formula / Expression
• Action (Save)

Add

• There is no specific screen to add or edit. All items configured in chart of accounts displayed here. Users can choose to make the appropriate changes.
• User must choose whether the chart of accounts items is input able or formula or heading in nature of COA tab.
  • Input able – input able by the user in user panel.
  • Heading - This acts as a heading to group certain elements.
  • Formula – formula is set in admin panel. Based on the formula, value is calculated.
  • How to set formula: Once the nature of COA is selected as formula, then user can click on applicable formula for the appropriate item and set the formula and click on save.
• User need to click on save for each line item under action tab.
